PRINCIPALS

After gaining extensive IT, business and management experience from over 20 years in corporate America, Rupa was bored by the humdrum.  In 2012, she made the tough decision to leave the security of a well-paying corporate job for a career that better utilizes her talents and started Prasiti Investments. To help prepare for the new career, she invested in a comprehensive education in multifamily investing through Lifestyles Unlimited. Rupa also received continuing education through the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS).

Rupa voluntarily took a temporary step back from being a Consulting Practice Director at a fortune 500 company managing a team with over $8 million in annual revenue to learn the Real Estate Investing business from the ground up. As a conservative investor, Rupa wanted to start small in order to gain hands-on experience with accounting, payroll, renovations, marketing and even going as far as taking hand-on maintenance for managers classes and formal Spanish lessons at the Community College in order to communicate with onsite construction workers and tenants. She is an avid learner of all things of practical value. Her latest pursuit is taking designer courses to be able to better streamline the rehab process.

Her first property acquisition as a lead enabled her to learn the business, and the second was for proving her investment model at a larger scale. Third and fourth projects enabled her to put her well-vetted real estate investment process into practice on multiple projects of much larger scale. Rupa is passionate about Multi-family Investing: she does this by choice and loves doing it!

Rupa enjoys having the flexibility of spending time with her two children and husband. Rupa and her family are avid international travelers, and enjoy learning about other countries and cultures. Another new venture is learning Mandarin Chinese.

When Rupa is not busy with Real Estate acquisitions, she is analyzing other investments to generate more money to put into her Real Estate acquisitions!.
